A 61-year-old individual was taken into custody following a disturbance at a coffee shop located at Block 204 Bedok North Street 1 on the evening of September 4. Witnesses reported that the man, who had allegedly consumed multiple bottles of beer, engaged in a verbal dispute with a female employee around 8pm. The situation escalated into a physical confrontation involving the staff member and subsequently the stall owner. Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the scene to address the reports of violence. Upon their arrival, the man resisted authorities and physically pushed the responding officers. He was eventually restrained with handcuffs and removed from the premises by police. Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
