The Busan District Court has rejected a legal challenge from an Army officer attempting to reverse a two-month suspension. The disciplinary measure was issued after the officer frequently abandoned his post without authorization over a ten-month period. Official base records indicated that the individual departed the facility 64 times during standard working hours without filing for leave or notifying his superiors. Beyond these unauthorized absences, the officer faced accusations of mistreating subordinates through verbal abuse and intentionally stalling the approval of their leave requests. The court upheld the unit commander's decision, confirming that the disciplinary action was appropriate given the officer's repeated failure to adhere to military protocols and his conduct toward fellow personnel.
