The Central Weather Administration reports that Taiwan will experience mostly sunny and cloudy conditions this Tuesday, with temperatures peaking between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius. While the day remains largely pleasant, isolated showers are anticipated in mountainous regions and the north coast. By Wednesday and Thursday, intensifying northeasterly winds are expected to trigger rainfall across northern and eastern areas. Humidity levels will likely rise by Friday, potentially leading to heavy precipitation in those same regions. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Environment has issued an orange air quality alert for central and southern Taiwan, as well as Kinmen and Matsu, warning that pollution levels could impact sensitive populations. Northern and eastern parts of the island currently maintain normal to good air quality readings.
