Thai Airways has officially invited passengers who faced flight cancellations, delays, or baggage issues during the severe flooding in late September to file for compensation. The airline announced on its Facebook page that the application process began on October 16. These disruptions occurred between September 26 and 30, when heavy rainfall impacted Bangkok and various regions across Thailand. The carrier stated that its board will evaluate each claim individually, assessing specific circumstances and financial losses in alignment with existing legal requirements and aviation regulations. Affected travelers are encouraged to reach out through the airline's designated customer service channels to initiate their requests for reimbursement or other remedies.
