A report from the German publication Der Spiegel suggests that a Turkish criminal organization may be responsible for an arson attack against a Starlink ground facility in Poland. Authorities in Germany have detained two Turkish nationals suspected of involvement in the incident, which occurred on September 23 in Wola Krobowska. Investigators believe the suspects might be linked to the Daltonlar gang, an Istanbul-based syndicate with a significant presence throughout Europe, or were acting under the direction of individuals associated with the group. The attack targeted a power supply and generator at the site, which supports communications for the Ukrainian military. Although the facility sustained damage, it has since returned to service, and no injuries were reported. Starlink, a satellite internet service provided by SpaceX, remains a critical component for Ukrainian operational coordination in areas where traditional telecommunications infrastructure has been compromised.
