A Turkish national detained in the United States has provided testimony to the FBI regarding the disappearance of university student Gülistan Doku. During interviews conducted at the Moshannon Valley Processing Center in Pennsylvania, Umut Altaş alleged that he witnessed the son of a provincial governor shoot the student. He further claimed to have assisted in placing the victim's body into a vehicle and overheard the suspect contact a security official to arrange for the disposal of the remains. This information was detailed in a 34-page report sent to Turkish authorities following a request for mutual legal assistance. The FBI document, which addresses allegations of murder and evidence tampering, was compiled after investigators posed over 100 questions to Altaş. The case remains a subject of official scrutiny as Turkish prosecutors review the provided statements.
