Nicolay Mladenov, the High Representative for Gaza, announced at the Hili Forum in Abu Dhabi that two more nations are anticipated to contribute to the International Stabilisation Force (ISF) in the near future. Mladenov noted that the planning and deployment phases are proceeding according to schedule. The proposed mission aims to facilitate the training of Palestinian police officers, oversee the disarmament process within the territory, and act as a buffer between Israeli and Palestinian forces during the withdrawal of Israeli troops. Furthermore, Mladenov highlighted that both Israel and Hamas are fulfilling their obligations under the established Gaza roadmap, which includes implementing humanitarian initiatives and adhering to weapon decommissioning protocols. This roadmap is designed to maintain accountability through a structured verification system.
