During a global conference in New York, UAE official Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar urged the international community to adopt comprehensive methods for countering hate speech and radicalization. The UAE representative emphasized the importance of fostering peaceful coexistence and tolerance by actively involving diverse groups, including religious leaders, youth, women, civil society organizations, and technology firms. This event, hosted by Morocco in partnership with United Nations bodies, took place prior to the UN General Assembly. Al Marar underscored the nation's commitment to the 'Tolerance, Peace and Security' agenda, noting that the UAE successfully hosts over 200 different nationalities who reside and work together in a stable environment. The call for action highlights the necessity of collaborative efforts to mitigate divisive rhetoric and promote social harmony on a global scale.
