The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operation (UKMTO) confirmed that a tugboat heading south was hit by two unidentified projectiles northeast of Khor Fakkan, United Arab Emirates. Although the vessel suffered physical damage during the event, it has maintained its course and is still traveling. Reports indicate that one individual sustained minor injuries. In response to the incident, the UKMTO has issued a security advisory urging all ships navigating the area to exercise heightened vigilance. Mariners are encouraged to monitor their surroundings closely and immediately report any unusual or suspicious behavior to the maritime authorities as an investigation into the cause of the attack is currently underway.
