President Shavkat Mirziyoyev recently held discussions with Sayyid Ayman Al Busaidi, the board chairman of the Omani firm Voltamp Energy. The meeting took place during the inaugural Investors Council focused on Uzbekistan's fuel and energy industry. The primary objective of the talks was to explore collaborative opportunities in the renewable energy sector, specifically targeting the development of solar power facilities. Additionally, the two parties deliberated on establishing local manufacturing capabilities for high-voltage transformers. To formalize these intentions, an agreement was reached to execute both current and future initiatives through a structured roadmap. This partnership aims to strengthen the energy infrastructure of Uzbekistan while fostering international investment from the Gulf region.
