Officials from the Uzbek Tourism Committee recently held meetings with representatives from the World Bank and the French Development Agency (AFD) to discuss strategies for advancing the country's tourism sector. The dialogue centered on implementing a "Hub & Spoke" model, designed to link major tourism centers with surrounding attractions through improved connectivity. Participants evaluated the current state of regional infrastructure, including transportation and engineering networks, while assessing how to better manage tourist traffic. The discussions also addressed methods for increasing the investment appeal of various regions and creating integrated travel routes. By collaborating with these international experts, Uzbekistan aims to foster comprehensive territorial development and strengthen the overall framework of its tourism industry.
