Vice President Sara Duterte has expressed willingness to undergo a polygraph examination to address allegations that she received cash-filled suitcases. However, she conditioned her participation on the public disclosure of the test results belonging to Rodulfo Gracioso Jr., the former police officer who made the accusations. Gracioso claims he delivered money to the Vice President and her family members under the direction of former House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco. While authorities previously stated that Gracioso passed a polygraph test, Duterte insists that these results must be made transparent. Furthermore, the Vice President formally denied all accusations, including claims regarding specific meetings and the involvement of her associates. She emphasized that her security detail, provided by the Presidential Security Group, would have prevented the alleged interactions described by Gracioso, and she dismissed his testimony as entirely fabricated.
