Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda recently stated that he finds it unacceptable for underlying inflation to remain consistently above the two percent threshold. These remarks were delivered approximately two weeks before the central bank is scheduled to hold its upcoming policy meeting. Despite these comments regarding price stability, market analysts and observers currently expect the institution to maintain its existing monetary policy stance without any adjustments during the forthcoming session.
