The Klang Sessions Court has acquitted and discharged blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, widely recognized as Papagomo, regarding sedition charges linked to social media comments posted three years ago. Judge Siti Aminah Ghazali issued the ruling following the conclusion of the defense proceedings. According to defense counsel Muhammad Rafique Rashid Ali, the court determined that the prosecution failed to establish the case beyond a reasonable doubt, whereas the defense successfully introduced sufficient doubt. Wan Muhammad Azri was the sole witness for his defense during the trial. This verdict follows a July decision by the Kuala Lumpur High Court, which had previously overturned an initial acquittal and mandated that the blogger present his defense against the allegations.
