Local authorities in Chitwan have initiated an inspection of Bharatpur Airport following numerous public grievances regarding the facility's poor maintenance. Travelers reported persistent issues, including inadequate sanitation in restrooms and a general lack of cleanliness throughout the terminal area. These concerns were formally escalated to Law Minister Sobita Gautam, who represents the Chitwan-3 constituency. In response, Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal conducted an on-site assessment alongside the minister to verify the reported neglect. Following the inspection, the district administration issued a directive to airport management, demanding immediate corrective actions to address the identified operational failures and improve the overall condition of the airport premises for the public.
