The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that recent tropical cyclones and monsoon rains have resulted in 12.4 billion pesos of damage across the Philippines. Agricultural losses are estimated at 4.1 billion pesos, impacting over 92,000 farmers and fishers across several regions. While a portion of the 80,274 hectares of affected crops may recover, over 23,000 hectares are considered total losses. Infrastructure damage, totaling 8.3 billion pesos, includes thousands of damaged or destroyed homes. The severe weather events have also resulted in 44 fatalities, with 12 deaths directly linked to the storms, alongside 18 injuries and five individuals still missing. The affected regions include Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Cordillera, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Western Visayas.
