Dubai has unveiled plans for an 80-kilometer road network known as the Fourth Corridor, designed to enhance connectivity across the emirates. This strategic project will be executed in two distinct phases, ultimately serving millions of residents. Once completed, the infrastructure is expected to reduce travel times by as much as 60 percent on specific segments, with one route duration dropping from 35 minutes to 14 minutes. As the fourth major axis connecting the UAE, it joins existing routes like Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates Road to create a comprehensive 48-lane network. The initial 30-kilometer phase will connect Al Shnouf Road in Sharjah to the Dubai-Al Ain Road, marking a significant step in the region's ongoing transportation development efforts.
