Homnath Lamichhane, an 86-year-old resident of Kalika Rural Municipality, is suffering from severe psychological distress following the Bhotekoshi flood. The natural disaster resulted in the loss of his three sons, who were truck drivers. According to his daughter-in-law, Yamuna Dhakal, Lamichhane has been unable to recover from the trauma, often appearing restless and speaking to himself throughout the night. The family reports that he remains deeply affected by the tragedy, frequently weeping as he struggles to process the scale of his bereavement. The incident has left the elderly man in a fragile state, as he continues to mourn the sudden death of his children who were swept away by the floodwaters while working.
