Bangladesh Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed announced that an official investigation is currently examining the destruction of the Radda MCH-FP Centre located in Mirpur. During a press briefing following a security meeting regarding Durga Puja, the minister emphasized that authorities will hold all responsible parties accountable, regardless of their political affiliations. He confirmed that a police officer has already been removed from duty and is facing disciplinary proceedings due to the incident. Furthermore, several individuals identified at the site have been taken into custody. The minister reiterated that the government is committed to a neutral probe and that a formal legal case is being processed to address the demolition. He stressed that political status will not provide immunity for anyone found to be involved in the illegal act.
