Nepal's Finance Minister, Dr. Swarnim Wagle, is traveling to Bangkok, Thailand, to represent the nation at the annual joint assembly of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group. Departing from Tribhuvan International Airport this Tuesday, the Minister intends to engage in over 16 separate bilateral and multilateral sessions with global financial leaders during the event. He is joined by a delegation that includes Finance Secretary Dr. Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Joint Secretary Amrit Lamsal, and personal aides Madhav Bhandari and Gajendra Bhattarai. The official visit is expected to conclude with the Minister's return to Kathmandu on October 21.
