During the ongoing legal proceedings regarding the death of Hong Kong socialite Abby Choi, forensic testimony revealed that a mark on the victim's spine matched an electric saw recovered from the crime scene. In February 2023, authorities discovered dismembered remains, including parts stored in a refrigerator and others found in cooking pots, at a residence leased by the family of Choi's former husband. Three individuals—Alex Kwong, his father Kwong Kau, and his brother Anthony Kwong—face charges of murder and obstructing a lawful burial. While the brothers admitted to the latter charge, all three defendants have maintained their innocence regarding the murder allegations. The trial continues to examine the physical evidence found at the rented property where the remains were located.
