Juliet Calvo, who previously led the Maintenance Division of the Department of Public Works and Highways in Region IV-B, is set to be transferred back to a detention facility. This development follows her medical discharge after being hospitalized for a stroke. Calvo is a co-defendant in a malversation lawsuit involving former Ako Bicol party-list Representative Zaldy Co. The Sandiganbayan Sixth Division received notification on Tuesday that her physicians had cleared her for release from the hospital. The legal proceedings against her continue as she transitions from medical care back to custody.
