A tragic incident in Kedah, Malaysia, resulted in the deaths of four children on Monday evening. The victims, aged between 8 and 12, were playing football near a retention pond in Taman Desa Kayangan when their ball fell into a deep monsoon drain. While attempting to recover the ball following a period of rain, the boys fell into the water and drowned. Local police in the Kulim District received an emergency call around 7:45 PM. Although emergency responders managed to recover all four children from the pond, two were declared dead at the site, while the remaining two passed away during transport to Kulim Hospital. Authorities have identified some of the victims as 12-year-old Muhammad Zafril Arsyad Muhamad Azrin and 10-year-old Muhammad Iman Nuruddin Khairol Anuar.
