Gulf Binance has temporarily halted cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals on its Thai platform to conduct a comprehensive security assessment. This precautionary measure follows a cyberattack reported on the global Binance exchange on October 29. Despite the suspension, the company confirmed that all customer assets remain secure and that trading services continue to operate without interruption. Gulf Binance emphasized that its Thai operations maintain independent cold wallet storage, separate from the global exchange's infrastructure. As a distinct legal entity, the firm is currently reviewing its systems to ensure continued protection for its users. While the company has not provided a specific timeline for the resumption of transfer services, it stated that operations will return to normal once the security team completes its detailed investigation.
