Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has organized a meeting with key stakeholders to facilitate a national survey focused on diagnostic and intervention services for autism and developmental disabilities in Qatar. Working alongside the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), the university aims to gather essential data to improve healthcare accessibility for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families. This collaborative effort is designed to provide evidence-based research that supports the National Autism Action Plan. By mapping existing facilities and identifying gaps within the current system, the initiative seeks to strengthen the quality and reach of support services nationwide. The recent session served to clarify the objectives of this mapping project and coordinate the involvement of various participants in the upcoming phases of the study.
