The Thai government has officially cancelled the naturalized citizenship of an Israeli-born individual named Ariel Blustein. Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul authorized the revocation order on October 1, citing the individual's failure to disclose his Uruguayan nationality and his continued utilization of an Israeli passport following his naturalization. Blustein had originally acquired his Thai status in 2019 under the provisions of the Nationality Act. Authorities determined that the concealment of his other citizenships and the ongoing use of foreign travel documents violated the conditions of his Thai residency and naturalization process. The cancellation of his legal status in the country took effect immediately upon the signing of the ministerial decree.
