The Iranian Book and Literature House recently participated in the 39th Moscow International Book Fair, held from September 2 to 6. The Iranian pavilion presented a collection of 500 book titles, various illustrations, and a series of cultural events. The primary goals included showcasing Iran's cultural and artistic capabilities, promoting its "Grant" program, and strengthening ties with Russian publishers established during the Tehran Publishing Fellowship. Displayed works covered diverse themes such as literature, art, children's books, religious topics, and national identity. The pavilion's design integrated elements of Iranian history and culture, featuring classical poets and Persian art. A dedicated section also honored figures related to the Islamic Revolution and child martyrs, emphasizing national identity and the culture of resistance. Meetings with Russian publishing professionals were held to foster future collaboration in translation and joint productions, aiming to deepen cultural interaction between the two nations.
