On the evening of Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the Shams Tabrizi mausoleum complex was formally opened in the city of Khoy, located in northwestern Iran. The inauguration ceremony saw the participation of Reza Salehi-Amiri, the Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts. Various domestic and international dignitaries were also present at the event to mark the completion of the site. This project aims to honor the legacy of the renowned mystic and poet, serving as a significant cultural landmark for the region.
