Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesperson for the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, stated that the ongoing tensions between Iran and the United States transcend military matters. During a conference in Qazvin, Mohebbi argued that American policies aim to dismantle Iran's historical, cultural, and religious foundations. He suggested that foreign adversaries intend to weaken the nation and potentially fragment it to reduce its regional influence. According to the IRGC official, this struggle is a critical test for the country's future, impacting its social values and moral framework. Mohebbi emphasized that the resilience of the Iranian people, rooted in their faith and heritage, will be the decisive factor in overcoming these external pressures. He urged citizens to remain dedicated to protecting the nation's territorial integrity and its unique Iranian-Islamic identity against these perceived threats.
