The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning regarding its military response to foreign aggression. Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi stated that Iran is prepared to strike 20 enemy positions for every two or three targets hit by an adversary. This declaration follows the IRGC Navy's recent activities in the Strait of Hormuz, where officials claim to have established firm control over the strategic maritime passage. Mohebbi noted that U.S. naval vessels have retreated at least 400 kilometers from the area, emphasizing Iran's growing missile capabilities and its ability to strike at significant distances. By highlighting these asymmetric defense tactics, Tehran aims to reinforce its national deterrence strategy, suggesting that any military provocation will be met with a disproportionately large retaliatory force intended to discourage further hostile actions in the Persian Gulf region.
