The overarching goals are to address existing electricity shortages and to construct a more robust and adaptable national power grid. Discussions concerning this major development occurred on September 8th, involving key figures such as Kazakhstan's Energy Minister, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, Masdar's Deputy Chairman for Business and Projects, Abdullah Zayed, and the UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Mohamed Saeed Mohamed Al-Ariki. Their talks primarily focused on the establishment of a 1-gigawatt wind power facility, complete with an integrated energy storage system, to be located in the Zhambyl Region, alongside exploring future cooperation prospects.
