Media City Qatar has entered into a strategic collaboration with the national satellite operator Es'hailSat to provide specialized infrastructure solutions to its licensed businesses. Announced during the IBC 2026 event in Amsterdam, this partnership grants media companies priority access to a comprehensive range of satellite and broadcasting capabilities. These services include direct-to-home distribution, enterprise connectivity, and broadband solutions, supported by Es'hailSat’s advanced Tier IV, ISO-certified teleport facilities located in Qatar. Furthermore, the agreement encompasses additional technical support, such as data center access and antenna hosting, designed to assist firms in scaling their operations and improving broadcast efficiency. This initiative aims to bolster the technological framework available to media entities operating within Qatar by leveraging high-quality satellite connectivity and professional broadcast resources.
