The Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) has officially refuted allegations that it is providing sanctuary to Senator Ronald dela Rosa. The organization dismissed rumors suggesting the senator is hiding within their ranks in Mindanao as baseless speculation. According to the MNLF, any perceived connection to the lawmaker is limited to professional interactions regarding peace initiatives and the integration of former combatants into the national security forces. The group clarified that the senator's past support for programs assisting veterans and their families, as well as his policy advocacy for the military and police, does not constitute a personal or organizational alliance. While the MNLF noted that its founder, Nur Misuari, maintained a friendship with the senator, they emphasized that this historical link does not equate to current protection or shelter for the fugitive official.
