The incident, which occurred on September 19, caused the young elephant to panic and nearly collide with its parent. Social media users expressed outrage over the motorist's reckless behavior and lack of consideration for the animals. Kanchana Silpa-archa, leader of the Chart Thai Pattana Party, publicly condemned the actions, noting the danger posed to the wildlife. She has formally requested that the park administration take disciplinary measures against the individual responsible for the disturbance. The incident has reignited discussions regarding traffic safety and the protection of animals within protected natural habitats in Thailand.
