A new non-profit entity named Crisis Connect Nepal (CCN) has been officially inaugurated following an assembly at Techspire College in Kathmandu. During the event, twenty-one charter members were sworn in to support the organization's mission of developing a technology-driven volunteer network for emergency situations across the country. Suraj Raj Pandey has been appointed as the president of the group, which will be governed by a seven-member board of directors and a chief executive officer. The organization is structured with five standing committees tasked with managing operations, including technical infrastructure and the deployment of field volunteers. CCN aims to bridge existing deficiencies in Nepal's emergency management framework by utilizing specialized training and digital tools to enhance the nation's overall disaster response capabilities.
