Thai Airways has improved its global standing, reaching 20th place in the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, a significant jump from its 29th position the previous year. The national carrier also secured ninth place among Asian airlines. Additionally, the airline received recognition for specific services, ranking seventh globally for airport operations, tenth for cabin crew quality, and fifteenth for economy class offerings. Singapore Airlines claimed the top spot in the overall global rankings, followed by Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific. These results are derived from an extensive passenger satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax between September 2025 and August 2026, which gathered feedback from travelers of over 100 nationalities regarding their experiences across more than 300 different airlines.
