Jeon Eun-seul, a 23-year-old university student, secured victory at the National Museum of Korea’s yearly costume competition. Approaching her final year of studies, Jeon viewed the event as a significant opportunity to create a lasting memory. She chose to embody a museum artifact, specifically a carp, by applying blue makeup to transform her appearance. After successfully navigating the preliminary stages of the contest, she expressed that the experience allowed her to demonstrate personal courage and self-expression before a public audience. The event continues to serve as a platform for participants to engage creatively with historical collections.
