The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has scheduled daily power interruptions across several districts in Kathmandu to facilitate the expansion of underground electrical infrastructure. Starting October 30 and continuing through November 6, electricity will be unavailable between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm in specific zones managed by the Kuleshwar and Baneshwar distribution centers. The maintenance work is set to impact various feeders, including those serving the Balambu, Thankot, Matatirtha, and Kalanki areas, as well as locations near the UN Park and Bijulibazar. Residents and businesses in these affected regions are advised to prepare for these temporary service disruptions while the utility provider upgrades its distribution network.
