A motorcycle taxi driver from Pathum Thani, identified as 45-year-old Chokcherd Duangngern, recently experienced a substantial financial windfall after discovering valuable items at a local flea market. While browsing a second-hand market near the Rangsit railway, he purchased a tarnished silver box for 100 baht and a bracelet resembling costume jewelry for 50 baht. Upon visiting the Mangkorn Lom Thong gold shop in Thanyaburi to have the items appraised, staff confirmed that both pieces were authentic. The silver box, weighing over 156 grams, was purchased by the shop for 9,844 baht. Furthermore, the bracelet, composed of high-purity gold, was valued at 94,881 baht. In total, the driver received 104,725 baht for the items he had acquired for a mere 150 baht.
