The avatar, named "AI Tsz-kin," was showcased at the University of Hong Kong shortly before the student reaches his 18th birthday. This age represents a critical point for Chen, who was informed that it marks the average life expectancy for those with his degenerative condition. Through this technological innovation, he intends to provide a lasting platform for his life story and his message of determination to persist beyond his physical life. The project illustrates how AI can be utilized to document personal histories and offer support to others facing similar health challenges.
