Law enforcement officials in Kathmandu have taken 24-year-old Saroj Lama into custody following allegations that he utilized social media to facilitate prostitution. Originally from Panchthar and currently living in the New Buspark area, the suspect reportedly produced and shared digital content offering to arrange women for commercial sexual services at varying price points. Police apprehended the individual while he was attempting to evade detection by altering his physical appearance. Following his arrest on Bhadra 27, the Kathmandu District Court granted authorities a five-day period to conduct further investigations into the case. The suspect remains in police custody as the legal process continues.
