The National Center for Meteorology in Saudi Arabia has issued a weather alert regarding moderate to intense thunderstorms expected across several regions this Sunday. Areas including Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and the mountainous terrains of Makkah and Madinah face a heightened risk of flash flooding. These weather patterns are anticipated to bring hail, strong winds, and dust storms, with potential fog formation in parts of Najran, the southern Eastern Province, and highland areas. While Jeddah and Najran are expected to experience thunderclouds accompanied by wind and dust, other cities such as Riyadh, Tabuk, Arar, and Sakaka are projected to maintain stable weather conditions. Residents in the affected regions are advised to remain cautious due to the potential for hazardous environmental conditions.
