During his initial appearance as the final candidate at the company's headquarters, Lee acknowledged the firm's strong market position, noting that KB generated a record-breaking net profit of approximately 3.9 trillion won, equivalent to 2.9 billion dollars, during the first six months of the year. Furthermore, he highlighted that the company's stock value has climbed to an unprecedented peak. Despite these favorable indicators, Lee emphasized that the group must avoid complacency and maintain its strategic momentum. He indicated that his leadership would prioritize building upon the existing corporate direction while seeking further expansion for the nation's largest financial institution.
