The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has officially launched the registration window for UAE nationals wishing to undertake the Hajj pilgrimage in 2027. Applications are being accepted until September 25 for citizens aged 15 and older who have never previously completed the religious journey. Interested individuals may submit their requests via the official website or mobile application provided by the authority. An automated selection system will evaluate all applicants against established criteria, with the final list of approved pilgrims scheduled for release on October 9. This announcement follows the participation of approximately 6,230 Emirati pilgrims in this year's Hajj. As one of the fundamental pillars of Islam, the pilgrimage is a mandatory obligation for Muslims who possess the physical and financial capacity to complete it at least once during their lifetime.
