The Philippine National Police (PNP) has announced plans to collaborate with international law enforcement agencies to investigate Thomas Markle, the father of the Duchess of Sussex. Authorities are examining claims that Markle possessed digital materials related to child abuse and exploitation. PNP Chief General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. emphasized that the nature of these crimes often transcends national boundaries, necessitating robust cooperation with foreign partners to secure digital evidence and protect minors. Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla previously confirmed that an official inquiry into these allegations is currently underway. The PNP maintains that addressing child exploitation remains a primary objective, and they are committed to working across jurisdictions to ensure a thorough investigation into the matter.
