Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has dismissed concerns regarding the confidence and supply agreement (CSA) established with the Bersatu party. Speaking to the press following Friday prayers in Bandar Tasik Selatan, Anwar stated that the current arrangement is consistent with established political mechanisms. He drew comparisons to a similar understanding reached between the Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional coalition during the tenure of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, a period when Anwar served as the Opposition Leader. According to the Prime Minister, the agreement regarding resource allocations follows the same principles utilized by previous administrations involving Umno, PAS, and Bersatu. He emphasized that the current process is standard practice and contains no irregular elements.
