Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has established an eleven-member committee tasked with supervising governance, security, and administrative operations within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will lead the panel, which includes several prominent federal ministers such as Rana Sanaullah, Ahsan Iqbal, and Azam Nazeer Tarar. The committee also incorporates representatives from the Pakistan Peoples Party, the Balochistan Awami Party, and the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party to ensure a collaborative approach among coalition partners. This development follows the federal government's recent decision to implement emergency measures and governor's rule in the province, which included the deployment of military personnel to support local civil authorities. The newly formed body is expected to maintain close surveillance over the regional situation to ensure stability and effective management of provincial affairs under the current federal intervention.
