The Years of Culture initiative in Qatar has officially unveiled its list of international partners scheduled for collaboration through 2030. Following the previously confirmed partnerships with Egypt and Greece for 2027, the program will expand to include Italy in 2028. Subsequent years will feature joint cultural celebrations with the Netherlands and Switzerland in 2029, followed by Portugal and Spain in 2030. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, who chairs the initiative, noted that the program is currently in its fifteenth year. She emphasized that these ongoing efforts aim to strengthen global friendships, foster meaningful exchanges, and contribute to the growth of Qatar’s creative sectors, as well as its broader social and economic development objectives.
