During the Qatar Economic Forum, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani introduced 'Doha Investment,' a strategic platform designed to oversee and expand the domestic holdings of the Qatar Investment Authority. This initiative coincides with the launch of a five-year development plan featuring investment opportunities valued at over $60 billion. The government aims to leverage this framework to enhance private sector involvement, support the growth of startups, and strengthen local capital markets. By fostering partnerships with international entities and attracting global expertise, the platform seeks to build upon three decades of infrastructure development. The ultimate goal is to diversify the national economy and establish a more robust business environment, with the project's success measured by its ability to drive sustainable growth and institutional excellence across the country.
