The Qatar Foundation recently organized the UK Alumni Forum 2026 in London, bringing together 65 graduates residing across Britain and Europe. This initiative aims to maintain strong professional and personal links between the foundation's global alumni network and the state of Qatar. Participants utilized the event to share their professional journeys and foster collaborative relationships. Among the attendees was Dr. Ahmed ElGhamrawy, a 2010 electrical engineering graduate from Texas A&M University at Qatar, who reflected on his career path that began within the local energy sector. By hosting such international gatherings, the Qatar Foundation continues to strengthen its global community, encouraging former students to remain engaged with the region's ongoing development and their shared academic heritage.
